About the Role

Shape the design language, practise, and culture at App Corp. You'll lead a team of three designers, establish design system standards, and take complex briefs from discovery to polished, validated interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end product design: discovery, IA, wireframes, prototypes, handoff
Build and govern a cohesive design system used across all client products
Mentor junior and mid designers through structured critique and feedback sessions
Champion user research and usability testing as a core part of every sprint
Work directly with clients at C-level to translate vision into actionable design strategy

Requirements

6+ years product design experience; 2+ years in a lead or principal role
Expert Figma: auto-layout, variables, interactive components, and design tokens
Portfolio demonstrating complex B2B or B2C products shipped at scale
Strong understanding of front-end constraints and close collaboration with engineers
Experience running discovery workshops and usability research independently

Nice to Have

Motion design and microinteraction prototyping (ProtoPie, Principle)
Design ops experience: tooling, contribution guides, governance models
